Hi and welcome to The Cutting Room, my name is Emma and I’m the owner, I grew up and qualified in Norwich and in 2009 opened a salon of my own. I know how important it is to feel confident with the person who is styling your hair and comfortable when having your hair done, so if you’re looking for a restyle, colours, a perm, a trim or even extensions in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you.
Situated on the outskirts of Norwich, on a main bus route the cutting room is a modern, reasonably priced salon with well qualified and experienced staff.
Our services include;
Cutting and styling hair
Up to date colouring techniques including colour correction
Weaving and slicing
Short and long hair perming
Wedding and prom hair ups and extensions using Rapture hair extensions which are a quick easy way to get long, thick hair.
We cater for all ages, from 6 months to 90 years old, all hair types, men, women and children. If you are not sure of what cut, colour or style you want for your hair we can guide you and discuss what will work best for your hair type and lifestyle. Whether it is for a special occasion or everyday wear we will help find the style to suit you.

We choose the best product for your hair type from ranges such as Affinage, Tigi and Goldwell. We also sell Tigi products giving our customers the chance to have that salon feeling at home.
